Dear Fellow Life Care Planners,

Many, many thanks to the colleagues who have stepped up to offer a show of support to the IALCP Board of Directors. Many of you may not be aware of the work that goes into being an IALCP board member. In the past few years, the board has sought out relationships with vendors who provide valuable IARP/IALCP Member benefits. The board has also worked to organize committees to identify speakers for the LCP Educational Symposiums and Summits. The last Summit was two years in the making and resulted in the work that the Costing Framework committee members are currently doing. The work of this committee will likely influence the foundational methodology used to identify cost information in our plans.

As Board members, it is our responsibility to focus on supporting the interest of the life care planning community. It is a mission that each board member takes very seriously. Many of us have invested years of work in supporting the growth and development of the specialty practice of life care planning. We must preserve the history of the IALCP with an eye to the future.

According to the IARP website we have 578 life care planning members. We hope that many of you will take the time to complete the survey. It will be helpful as we address strategic planning for the section. Thank you and have a lovely day!
