I would appreciate a discussion or a private note on this one
Standard #14 "The life care planer users a consistent, valid, and reliable approach to costs." the practice competencies has a-f attributes.
A. uses a consistent method to determine costs for various categories of available/needed services.
b. uses geographically relevant and representative costs.
c. identifies services and products from reliable sources.
d. Follows a consistent method for organizing and interpreting data for projecting costs.
e. Explains the life care planning process involved to parties to obtain needed information.
f. Cites variable costs.
To date, this standard has been very effective for me in supporting my LCP costing analysis. Again, in preparation for a presentation with another member i would appreciate any reaction to the following (please send me private note if you prefer)
any scenarios in which you felt this standard did not support your work product, or difficulties encountered with questions on your work product that this standard did not support. Any other "help" in navigating this standard when presenting your LCP.
This ask is not intended to express any criticism of the current standard - it is to seek insight with the objective of providing an optimal learning exercise for a future presentation.
thank you
