Good news regarding CEUs.
Nursing CEUs have been preapproved for a maximum of 18.25 credits (symposium and conference). ICHCC has pre-approved 15.25 CLCP credits (with up to 8.75 ethics credits) for the IARP conference on October 21st and 22nd and 7.5 CEUs for forensic 101/201 on October 20th. For the symposium, attendees are encouraged to submit their certificate of attendance and learning objectives at the time of their CLCP renewal.
I have been called away to testify on Wednesday, October 19, and am very sad not to see you all at the symposium. However, please stay for the IARP conference! There is going to be great content for life care planners, as with the symposium.
I want to acknowledge the symposium planning committee, of which I have been honored to be chair. They are Dr. Kristi Bagnell, Sarah Malloy, Tricia Morrison, Dana Penilton, and Elizabeth Zaras. Please give these ladies a big thank you when you see them. And be sure to attend the reception on Wednesday night, when people's contributions will be acknowledged during the awards ceremony.
Also, please include your recommendations for future speakers or topics on your evaluation forms. The first thing the committee does when starting to plan for the next year is to read these comments and try to fulfill these requests.
