The Life Care Planning Symposium Planning Committee is excited about the lineup of presentations and speakers at the upcoming October 19 and 20, 2022 International Symposium of Life Care Planning in Fort Worth Texas. One of many highlights includes the presentation by Tracy Albee, Susan Riddick-Grisham, and Ann Neulicht; they will be describing the findings from the 3rd longitudinal research study on the process, methods, and protocols of life care planning. In 2001 the Foundation for Life Care Planning and Rehabilitation Research prioritized repeat surveying of the life care planning community to guide the practitioner and industry in decisions regarding life care planning. The initial research survey was completed in 2001 and published in JLCP in 2002.[1] The second survey was completed in 2009 and published in JLCP in 2010.[2] Both Dr. Neulicht and Ms. Riddick-Grisham were researchers in the 2001 and 2009 surveys. Ms. Albee, Ms. Riddick-Grisham, Dr. Neulicht will bring a 20-year perspective on the processes and methodologies of life care planning when they present the 2022 longitudinal research findings.

This presentation promises to bring a wealth of information to the field of life care planning as the survey collected data from an international sample of life care planners. This vital research provides information to support and advance the practice of life care planning and further the practitioners' understanding of how process, methods and protocols of life are planning have changed over the last 20 years. This session will validate your ability to defend published processes and methodology as well as assist you in educating the trier of fact to understand the methodology underlying the process. Survey results will also describe how the pandemic has impacted our practice. This milestone research will add to the practice of life care planning by further clarifying life care planning processes and methodology as well as identifying potential areas that require further definition, methodology refinement and areas our field will benefit from further research.

Don't miss the opportunity to attend the 2022 International Symposium of Life Care Planning for this as well as other excellent presentations.
