(Although I posted this yesterday, for some reason it didn't come up on the listserv, so wanted to repost.)

Today, 12/1/11, is Dr. Roger Weed's official first day of retirement from paid employment from GSU. He has been a mainstay, a mentor, a cheerleader, a trailblazer, and an inspiration throughout my career. I send him a warm thank you for all he has done for our profession and offer a standing ovation in this virtual auditorium. Bravo Dr. Weed!

Congratulations, Roger!! I anticipate that you will not fade away and hit the "auto cruise" in the Bahamas somewhere.... Take care, and enjoy retirement. Jeff Peterson Jeff Peterson & Associates PO Box 440 Sulphur, LA 70664-0440 Phone: 337-625-2526 Fax: 337-625-2035 email: jeff@jp-a.com

Roger-Best of wishes to you in retirement.  Your contributions to the rehabilitation filed are beyond compare.  Take pride in the fact that your life's work is known to all in our field.

My father in law retired this year and it only took him only two months to realize he could not tolerate "retirement".  He went out and got a part time job....I think his wife was happy about the part time job as well.....
