Hello everyone,

I am cross posting a message from the CA Chapter of IARP, with the permission of the President / author.  Kelly is looking for an Educational Committee Chairperson and I am sure she would also welcome other committee volunteers as well.  For those LCPers in CA, who are not on the discussion group for CA Chapter of IARP, I do encourage you to join and stay abreast of their work. 

Historically, the chapter has been primarily Vocational Experts with very little input from LCPers.  Moving forward, they want to include us LCPers in their plans for education and for networking. I would personally like to see a few of us LCPers attend their meetings and get involved.  Karen Preston, Liz Holakiewicz and myself are all very excited about this, but are committed to the IARP IALCP Board of Directors presently and cannot get closely involved with the local chapter work in 2016 or 2017. I urge any CA LCPers to consider becoming involved to represent us.  If you have any questions on how to become more involved, I encourage you to reach out to Kelly, whose contact info is below, or the next year's president, Jeff Bruno at jeff@bruno-ec.com.

And lastly, I have to put in a pitch for the recruitment of an Esteemed Educational Committee Chairperson!  We seriously need someone to step forward as we've started to assemble a team, but really need that team captain!  The board would like to get another State Conference off the ground so members across the state can learn, socialize, network, mentor, and obtain CEUs!  Feel free to contact any board member to explore this exciting opportunity.
