Is there a vocational expert working on this case?  If so, can you get information from that person about the recommended vocational rehabilitation plan?  If there is not yet a vocational expert, can you recommend to the referral source that one be hired?  The approximate cost for vocational rehabilitation services depends on so many factors; there is no "one size fits all" cost for any geographic area.

Jill, if you check the IARP website, you can access the member directory on the home page.  There are many, many IARP members in CA who can assist you.

    Good luck.

The Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) website offers a free "Locate a Certified Professional" service at https://crcc.ebiz.uapps.net/PersonifyEbusiness/LocateaCertifiedProfessional.aspx
It currently lists over 600 Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRCs) in California in that directory.  Some provide their telephone number and/or email address in the directory.  That may be a helpful resource for locating vocational rehabilitation resources in the state.

Similarly, the IARP membership directory can be a helpful resource.  Running a search on the state of California for individuals with the credentials CRC, CVE (Certified Vocational Evaluator) and/or membership in ABVE (American Board of Vocational Experts) brings up 67 potential contacts (most with email addresses given).

There are also vocational experts in other states who have nationally-based practices, and regularly testify in multiple states.  Some of those individuals are members of the Forensics section of IARP; you many be able to find them through a search of the IARP membership directory, focused on members of the Forensics section.

Hoping this is helpful to you,
