Hi Everyone,
The Pittsburgh contingent is putting together a variety of "to do" lists for the conference in October, including our own list of our personal favorite restaruants.
In the meantime, I came across this link today & thought I would share it. Another of Pittsburgh's secret treasures, located less than 15 minutes from downtown. Here's an excerpt.
"There’s No Chapel In The World Like St. Anthony’s Chapel In Pittsburgh
For many people, a visit to the Vatican in Rome is a pilgrimage, an opportunity to experience the very heart and history of the Catholic Church. But, what many people might not realize is an incredibly unique chapel in Pittsburgh, St. Anthony’s, houses 5,000 Christian relics, the largest public collection in the world."
"St. Anthony's Chapel welcomes all visitors to normally scheduled services as well as Saturday through Thursday between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. The chapel, which offers free parking, is located at 1704 Harpster Street."
