  • 1.  Psychotherapy/counseling for life

    Does anyone have references from professional journals which would address the issue of whether psychotherapy/counseling for life is normal? I see this recommended in some life care plans and wonder if it is ever actually needed for life.

    Just about every physiatrist & neuropsychologist recommends it on the majority of my catastrophic cases.

    You may want to focus your search on long-term psychotherapy rather than life-time.

    Are you critiquing a recommendation for this or are you trying to support a physician's recommendation for this?
