Neurostimulator placement pricing using Fair Health

Did my first procedure using Fair Health Data for a placement of neurostimulator in LA.

The surgeon quoted me $20-25,000 for the stimulator trial.

I got $19,226 using the 75%.  This seemed right on.

    63650 stimulator trial/lead placement  $14,246 at 75%, mean data is $8,461

    63687 Neuro generator placement/revision  $15,386 at 75% mean at $9,411

L8680 HCPCS for leads $842.  This is consistent with prices I have been quoted by the reps, per lead array.

L8687 HCPCS for generator $31,211.  This seems high based on previous quotes, using 75%.  Mean data is at $28,141.

and for kicks I looked up

63650 Med Surg for the physician fees.  I also used my Med Fees 2016 to check this price.  At 75% Fair Health was $8300. Med Fees had me at $4,950.

When I add up the equipment and the facility fees for the CPT I got $61,715 for permanent placement of the stimulator.  Then I add in the MD fees and $69,159 for the whole party.  MD quote was $50-55,000 for facility and his fee.

This used up 5 searches for 1 procedure.

Just curious about others findings and methodology thus far, in terms of what percentiles you are using and/or if you are using the mean?
