IARP CONNECT Code of Conduct

  • 1.  LA Orthopedic Surgeon

    Hi all.....I have a client who relocated to Lacomb, LA.  He's had a lumbar fusion and is now winding down on treatment.  I need to find an orthopedic surgeon who could do an IME and then calculate a whole person impairment rating.  Does anyone have any suggestions on who to use?

    Hi Katherine:

     

    Lacombe is just across Lake Ponchartrain from New Orleans.  Often, counselors will refer clients to physicians in New Orleans for IME's in this type of situation.  If you want to consider this, I would recommend Dr. Doug Lurie with Orthopedic Associates of New Orleans.  Their address in N.O. is 3434  Pyrtania Street, N.O., La.   Phone # is (504) 899-6391.  They also have a closer office (to Lacombe) in New Orleans East and maybe you could schedule the appointment there.  This address is 5621 Read Blvd.
