IARP Policy on Member Surveys

  • 1.  IARP Policy on Member Surveys

    Posted 01-21-2016 10:53

During Rick Robinson's OPEN MIC earlier this week, the IARP president answered a question about IARP's policy on conducting research using surveys of the membership.  He said gathering feedback from members is vital. Some surveys are generated by the academic community; others are initiated by section boards or various committees within IARP. The president said having a formal system by which potential surveys are evaluated is the cornerstone of the IARP policy. There's always the danger that the membership will be burdened with too many surveys.

We have listed the official survey form below so that all members can see the steps required to present a proposed survey to the IARP membership or selected groups such as individual sections, special interest groups, students, Individual Professional members, etc. The final decision to proceed with the survey rests entirely with the research committee chair.
