    Dear Colleagues,
I am looking for a resource/ guideline to predict how long seizures will likely occur in a pediatric client who has mostly controlled seizures on medication after an electric shock brain injury. Any ideas?
    Thank you,
    Amy

    Amy:

I searched our FormPro database and did not find any articles related to seizure disorder and electrical injury.  I have attached a list of articles that deal with neuropsychological change after an electrical injury.  Maybe something could assist you in one of them.

i also searched seizures/epilepsy generally in our pediatric TBI database and found nearly 90 articles and guidelines that discuss the topic.  If those might be of interest to you, let me know.

From experience seizures and seizure activity and medications can change throughout childhood and throughout adulthood. I don't think you can predict it.
