Hi all....I received a message from a listserve this morning with some information that I thought folks might be able to use. So thought I'd pass it along. The discussion was about how to record say an interview/conversation that was happening telephonically. And then also provided information on how to have that information transcribed. For those of us without office staff, this sounded pretty slick.
Tape-A-Call - you conference in the number and it will record the entire conversation until you hang up. You can then download the sound file or just send it directly to your cloud storage. Another useful aspect of the app was that it is connected to Rev.com, a transcription service that charges $1/min and can turn around the transcript in 48 hours or less (On average transcripts returned within 12 hours). Therefore, you can send the file directly to Rev.com from the app itself.
