    Colleagues:

I am editing a special issue of the Brain Injury Professional on the topic of Evolutions in Neurorehabilitation for publication later this year.  The issue will identify areas of innovative neurorehabilitation research and application related to traumatic brain injury, and I am soliciting 2000-3000 word articles.  I would appreciate hearing from you back channel at harveyjacobs@harveyjacobs.net if you are interested in writing for the issue or can suggest others to contact.  I am looking for topical articles covering issues such as neuroplasticity, neuroprostheses, bioprostheses, pain - especially cortical reorganization, virtual reality in rehabilitation, transcranial magnetic stimulation andother neurostimulation, advanced processes in speech, advanced processes in neuropsychological rehabilitation, assistive technology, implants, dynamic supportive environments, etc. Articles need to be topical and research/clinical  vs. product based.

The Brain Injury Professional is the journal of the North American Brain Injury Society (NABIS) and focuses on salient topics associated with traumatic brain injury.  It is distributed to over 6,000 professionals quarterly, including physicians, researchers, psychologists and other allied health professionals, case managers, educators, administrators, policy analysts, attorneys, insurance companies, academicians, and a host of others.  NABIS is comprised of professionals involved in the care or issues surrounding brain injury.  The principal mission of the organization is moving brain injury science into practice. Their site is www.nabis.org

Please contact me if you have any questions and thank you very much for your time and consideration.

    Thanks,

    Harvey
