The Editor may recommend any changes and/or alterations of any of these points to the Board for consideration. As indicated by the list of responsibilities, the Editor should have great latitude and freedom to develop content (topics, issues, and discussions) as long as the journal is developed within the context of the journal's mission and the governing parameters set forth by the Board. A significant degree of responsible "academic freedom" is essential for the Editor to be able to develop and maintain the journal with regard to the overall content of each issue.
