First Happy New Year to all of you.

I am looking for a Physiatrist in the Bay area of California whose specialty is spinal cord injuries.  The client is a T4 Paraplegic with other complications.  I went to Craig Hospital with him for a full evaluation.  At that time, the leg spasms were extremely strong.  He was checked from head to toe for the cause and all systems were good.  Soon after that evaluation he began to suffer headaches after he sleeps 3 hours, to relieve his headache he sits up for 5-10 minutes, then goes back to sleep.  He then gets 1-2 hours rest, and the headache is back with a vengeance.  He has not been able to identify a trigger and an underlying condition has not been identified.  As stated above there are other complications, years ago due to a spinal cyst he lost use of his left upper extremity from the wrist down.

I am concerned about the headaches and feel a physiatrist close to home would be able to figure out what is going on.  Currently he has a neurologist and GP, but no rehab doc.
