    Very Important Information/Reminders/Tips

    If you are currently registered or plan to register for the 2013 International Symposium on Life Care Planning in Atlanta Georgia, please take just a few minutes to review the following information!!!<u5:p></u5:p>

    Ø  If you are registered for the Thursday, September 26 Pre-Conference Workshop - SEAK II (Windsor Ballroom 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.), please plan to arrive by 7:45 a.m. for registration/sign in.<u5:p></u5:p>

    <u5:p> </u5:p>

    Ø  If you are registered for the Friday, September 27 Pre-Conference Workshop (Shepherd Center 8:00 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.), please keep in mind that the shuttles that will be taking attendees from the Hotel to Shepherd Center will depart the hotel promptly at 7:15 a.m. - Please do not be late and risk missing the shuttle!!!<u5:p></u5:p>

    Ø  All Attendees make plans to join us at Friday Night's "Taste of Atlanta" Welcome Reception (6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.)!! We will offer roundtable discussions led by veteran Life Care Planners to include information such as...First years of a life care planning practice, Daubert Challenges, Coding/Pricing, and Writing and Publishing for the JLCP.  In addition, you will want to make sure to have a little cash on hand so that you can join in on our "Heads and Tails" fund raiser.  For a small entry fee you can join in on the laughs and fun of this game and have the opportunity to go home with a little extra cash (winner receives half of entry fees for that particular game).  Several rounds will be played!!  We will offer Hors-d'oeuvres with a focus on local flavors as well as a cash bar with wine and beer and a couple of local specialty drinks!!  This will be a reception packed with information and fun for all and you will not want to miss it!!<u5:p></u5:p>

    Ø  Main Conference, Saturday September 28 - Breakfast and sign in will be in the Windsor Ballroom from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.  Conference begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. in the Venetian Ballroom.<u5:p></u5:p>

    Ø  Please keep in mind that all conference handouts will be provided to you on flash drives, so make sure to bring your computer if you would like to follow along with the presentations.  Internet access will not be available in the main conference ballroom.<u5:p></u5:p>

    Ø  If you are interested in making a donation to the Foundation for Life Care Planning Research, please make checks payable to: FLCPR and mail to 10 Windsormere Way Suite 400, Oviedo, Florida 32765 or call Rusiko Gogoberidze at 407-977-3223.  Also, the Foundation's booth with be open at the exhibitors hall in the Windsor Ballroom on Saturday and Sunday September 28 -29.

    Transportation Options available from airport to hotel:

    ·      Rental Car with a variety of rental rates.<u5:p></u5:p>

    ·      Taxi service, $44 flat rate for 2 or less, one way, approximately 19 miles, 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on traffic.<u5:p></u5:p>

    ·      Airport Shuttle, $22 per person, one way, plan on an hour depending on stops.  Shuttle will not leave the airport until it is full.<u5:p></u5:p>

    ·      Train system, a station is available in the airport; $3.50 per person, take to the Buckhead station; exit to the street level on the Peachtree north side and the hotel is less than a block away.

    ·      Atlantic Limousine 770-751-7078  Attendees will need to make arrangements in advance for this company.  Just call the number listed above and mention ISLCP 2013, Intercontinental Buckhead.  They are also able to provide wheelchair accessible transportation.<u5:p></u5:p>
