This is just a note to let you know that beginning next week the Social Committee will be sending you information regarding what is going to be "happening" at the 2013 Forensic Conference this year. We are going to give you an overview of the opportunities for fun , donations and the causes for which we will be working while we are at the conference.
Our week will begin with Co-Chair Cindy Grimley presenting an outline of the causes for which we will be selling raffle tickets and auctioning vacations, etc. It will continue with some of the fishing opportunities, a Schooner Sunset Sail, and how you can sign up for these events by Ron Smolarski. We will go further by offering a golf outing, the Sassy Charleston Fashion Reception and fun things we will do to try and also raise funds for our cause.
Our goal this year will be to have everyone be self sufficient with making reservations etc. as we do not want to have "no-shows" or hidden costs for which other folks become responsible. The reservations will be made by you, the bids and donations will be made by you and the fun will be experienced by you!!
The Social Committee has been working hard to find and explore new ideas so a special thanks goes to them for the hard work they have and will continue to do on this effort!
Finally, we would like to encourage all of you to attend this week of fun and explore, not only the excitement of our Nation's history; but to continue to make IARP history with a conference that will leave a mark within our hearts and those of the Charleston Community.
