    A dear friend requires a stairlift in her home in Maryland.  Which company would you recommend?  Thanks!

    My husband just installed an Ameriglide Rave in our house (his 91 year old father lives with us now).

    We are very happy with it. American made...the local dealer was quite helpful. Installation instructions were complete (and relatively easy - our stairs are straight with access on both ends), although it took longer than 3 hours to install.
