Hi all,
I am currently doing a LCP for a case that will run herer in Australia. The little boy has severe CP with normal intellect. He lives in Ithaca NY. I am to assume for the courts here that all services will be provided as private fee for service after the case settles. He is an American citizen and therefore currently qualifies for Medicaide funding. I need help to establish what the following costst would be if purchased privately with no Medicaide assistance.
Speech Therapy
Occupational Therapy
Physiotherapy
LPN
RN
General Paediatrician
Neurologist
Dentist
Orthopaedic physician
Gastroenterologist.
I have no idea of how your funding for health is affected by settlement of big claims. The family also have insurance with Aetna and I dont know how this will affect post-settlement payments. Any information about any knowledge of funding caps, restrictions post settlement of a claim would be helpful, as well as private fees......Thanks everyone.
