I have received an "invitation"  (aka solicitation) from the American Psychotherapy Association to become a   Board Certified Professional Counselor during the grandfathering period.  To be considered for BCPC status, one must have a minimum of 100 points based on education, experience, knowledge, skill and training...

Have other received this mailing?  Does anyone know anything about the American Psychotherapy Association and/or this certification effort?

    Thanks

I have one through the American Board of Medical Psychotherapists. They have an annual conference and put on one journal per year. They had some very big name therapist on their board...such as Ellis (deceased) ....your organization sounds like a bit different than mine.
