Gerri Pennachio is a rehabilitation consultant who has been practicing in the field of vocational rehabilitation for 31 years. She began her practice, initially concentrating on reemployment of individuals who had sustained injuries through on-the-job accidents. Her business subsequently expanded to catastrophically ill and injured individuals.
She is a graduate of the University of Florida and received her Masters Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation from the University of South Florida. She is a member of the International Association for Rehabilitation Providers and past president of the International Association of Rehabilitation Providers - Florida Chapter. She is the owner of Counseling & Rehabilitation Associates. She is a sole proprietor. Her work in the field of vocational rehabilitation has taken her throughout the Southeastern United States and Puerto Rico. She has worked with numerous attorneys, insurance companies, and economists in developing life care plans, future medical cost projections to assist in reserve setting, trial preparation, mediation/settlement negotiations and job placement.
She maintains her private practice in Lakeland, Florida, although you will rarely find her in that location. She travels extensively throughout the state in evaluating individuals who have sustained injuries.Over the last 31 years, her practice has expanded to include Ergonomic Job Analyses to evaluate repetitive trauma injuries, Life Care Planning, Social Security Determination Evaluations, family court and civil litigation.
She currently sits on the Educational Committee for the Symposium and is outgoing Board Member at large for the Life Care Planners Section.
