(Note: To sit for the CLCP and CCLCP exams, an onsite testimony/trial experience is required, which this program does not provide)

Format:
136 clock hours, including 5 online modules plus onsite trial practice module

Time Frame:
Six-month program - specific dates for each module

Courses:
Life care planning methodology, the assessment process, multiple disabilities
Medical rehabilitation team process/referral sources
Vocational rehabilitation, economics, structured settlements
Capstone course - tying it together
Preparation of a life care plan

Onsite:
Civil trial practice (Attend a 4 day course in Columbus OH and then take the CLCP exam on fifth day)

Application fee: $30
Tuition and fees: $4,235
Books and supplies: about $500 (2 books)
Plus costs for travel, food, and lodging to attend onsite practicum

Admission Requirements:
RN: Bachelor’s degree from accredited 4-year institution, valid RN license, 5,000 hours of clinical experience

Rehabilitation or other related professionals: Bachelor’s degree in field from accredited 4-year institution, rehabilitation certification, minimum of 3-5 years rehabilitation work experience

Admission Procedures:
Submit application, transcripts, resume, 3 professional references, personal statement and $30 application fee.

Format: 120 hours divided into 11 sections
Sections 1-10 are taught in a recorded presentation with homework assignments at the end of each section.  For section 11, students have the option of choosing a recorded presentation with a homework assignment or an onsite classroom setting.

Time Frame: One year to complete full program
Online courses are open enrollment with 30 days to complete each course
Onsite section offered about 4-6 times per year

*FIG students have the option of taking Class 1 and Class 11 onsite in Asheville, NC.  If the live classroom option is chosen for Class 1 and/or Class 11, the student will spend two days in a small round table learning environment with an instructor who is CLCP certified.  Contact FIG (info@figservices.com) for our upcoming schedule of onsite dates.
