136 clock hours, including 5 online modules plus onsite trial practice module

Time Frame:
Six-month program - specific dates for each module

Life care planning methodology, the assessment process, multiple disabilities
Medical rehabilitation team process/referral sources
Vocational rehabilitation, economics, structured settlements
Capstone course - tying it together
Preparation of a life care plan

Onsite:
Civil trial practice (Attend a 4 day course in Columbus OH and then take the CLCP exam on fifth day)

Admission Requirements:
RN: Bachelor’s degree from accredited 4-year institution, valid RN license, 5,000 hours of clinical experience

Rehabilitation or other related professionals: Bachelor’s degree in field from accredited 4-year institution, rehabilitation certification, minimum of 3-5 years rehabilitation work experience

Admission Procedures:
Submit application, transcripts, resume, 3 professional references, personal statement and $30 application fee.

Sections 1-10 are taught in a recorded presentation with homework assignments at the end of each section.  For section 11, students have the option of choosing a recorded presentation with a homework assignment or an onsite classroom setting.
