Out of the Box Plans: Collaborative Creativity in Plan Development

Participants will learn:

1. Examples of vocational best practices during plan development services, from the beginning of the referral until plan review.
2. Information on best practices when working with non-English speakers or individuals without legal documentation.
3. Benefits of WorkSource services and collaboration opportunities during plan development services.
4. Information about an occupational skills training program available for Washington state fund claims.
5. Processes for occupational skills training and on the job training as well as when these may be appropriate.
6. Information on what L&I looks for when reviewing for QA and approving good cause extensions and plans.
