  • 1.  How many with Registered Nurse credentials qualify for CRC?

    How does one with an RN education, qualify for CRC?  and how does one with an RN degree qualify for State of Washington, Registered Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor?

    I wonder how many do voc rehab with a RN in the USA (not MSN). 

    I have seen two "VRC's" in memory, just confused. I called the COMMISSION though no response yet.

    John, in the "olden days" I worked with a nurse who had her transcript evaluated (BSN) and was eventually registered as a VRC.  She would not have qualified for CRC.  I suppose any RN with a BSN, MSN of combination of nursing and counseling degrees could.  Interesting question.

    Don't' take this as just a flippant response, but the actual reason is because the accrediting Board allows it. The question needs to be directed to the accrediting body, and if you called and got no response, maybe that was a response all by itself….agree with Kathy, it's an interesting question.
