Annabel Cobane has been working as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor since 2014 and is a supervisor and principal partner of Advanced Vocational Solutions, Inc. She is a Certified Disability Management Specialist and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Society, Ethics & Human Behavior with a minor in Human Rights from the University of Washington. She’s also bilingual, which allows her to connect with the Spanish-speaking community to find the unique needs of many injured workers in Central/Eastern WA.
Mrs. Cobane has also had the privilege of presenting on professional ethics (2018) and vocational services after COVID-19 (2021) at the WA Self-Insured Association. She also presented on the benefits of on-the-job training at the Kiwanis Club of Yakima (2019) and was elected to serve as a Board Member at Large for the WA Chapter of International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP) for 2020-2023. Annabel was also a co-presenter at IARP Nationals, presenting on Vocational Rehabilitation Services for H-2A Workers. She’s recognized as a vocational expert by the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals.
