This one day conference was well attended and received. Evaluations were very positive with high marks for each of the speakers.

During our annual meeting, members voted to approve having one student representative from each of the C.O.R.E accredited universities offering advanced education in Rehabilitation Counseling, whereby the student is given a free non-voting membership. We are attempting in the future to align our conferences to the specific sections our members have joined.

Fellow board members and I will be busy planning our next educational event. We welcome your suggestions and involvement in two committees, membership and conference planning.

We welcome news updates and articles for our newsletter which will have highlights from the National Conference scheduled in New Orleans the beginning of November.

Please contact one of the board members with questions, comments and concerns and visit our new website at: www.rehabpro.org/chapters/michigan.

Respectfully submitted,
