In compliance with the IARP Michigan bylaws, this posting serves as notice of our annual meeting to be held at 4:00 pm Eastern time on Wednesday, June 19th. This meeting will be held virtually to accommodate attendance by all members.
After careful consideration, research, and discussions with neighboring chapters, the IARP Michigan board voted unanimously on April 24th to merge the chapter with the IARP Midwest Chapter. Consideration of this move was driven by the following factors:
1: Ongoing challenges in recruiting new board members, with several current board members serving 10 years or more
2: A desire to pool resources to offer more educational opportunities and more diverse offerings with a wider perspective
3: The ability to expand networking opportunities with professionals with similar interests and challenges.

4. Commentary from the Michigan board’s president regarding the process in coming to the vote regarding merger with the midwest Chapter
