I am trying to locate a source that addresses whether or not someone who has a spinal cord stimulator can operate a commercial vehicle. I realize that this might vary from state to state. I also understand that a SCS may need to be turned off while operating a commercial vehicle. I have looked at the federal motor carrier safety administration/medical examiners handbook and cannot find a specific reference. Can anyone lead me to a resource that addresses this? Thank you.
