Welcome to the Forensic Section of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals. This is a section dedicated to supporting and advancing the career development and educational needs of our members working in forensic rehabilitation.
Forensic vocational or medical rehabilitation experts perform evaluations to assess vocational, medical, and economic damages in the context of litigation. Our typical section member serves as an expert in the areas of vocational/medical rehabilitation, medical care costs, vocational and earning capacity, lost earnings, cost of replacement services, and lost ability/time in performing household services.
Our section’s goals are to:
- Promote the advancement and exchange of research and methodology in the field of forensic rehabilitation
- Provide opportunities for continuing education and professional development, including webinars, peer reviewed publications, and professional conferences
- Mentor emerging professionals interested in forensic rehabilitation by offering a platform to share resources and experiences and foster professional relationships
- Encourage an exchange of ideas and resource sharing on our invaluable forensic listserv
We appreciate the opportunity to serve you and look forward to your involvement in IARP.
