  • 1.  Notes on the Forensic Forum and SCRB leadership request

    Posted 08-09-2023 11:08

    Good morning,

I appreciate the comments and thoughts on the Section Forums and their functions. I see them as a valuable resource for our members, and refer to them often when I have a question or need a resource.

Please note, the Forums are not moderated or monitored by our leadership or by Ewald. I am sure everyone can understand and appreciate how time-consuming and difficult that would be, and we rely on our members to interact well with each other. That also means that when members post and have suggestions on the Forum, Board members don't always see or read those items until a later date, or at all, if they don't happen to read that thread.

I would like to encourage anyone who has suggestions, requests, or complaints to get in touch directly with leadership, and consider serving on the Standards and Compliance Review Board (SCRB). The IARP Connect Code of Conduct has recently been revised due to dynamic membership needs, and the Forensic Section is seeking a respresentative from our Section to serve on SCRB. The deadline is 8/11/2023 (!) and the link to apply is here

Thanks again for all of the input and thoughts.

    -Tricia
