This is so cool. Since many of us have worked with folks with Down, I thought others would enjoy this too.

I saw this article as well, Scott, and was heart warmed.  As a mother of three and grandmother of three more, I know that children's toys help in shaping their worldview.  It is often hard for parents of minorities or children with special needs to find representative toys.  I always feel encouraged when I see ethnic dolls or dolls in wheelchairs or with crutches in toy stores.  This new Barbie is a wonderful addition to those collections and will undoubtedly help parents (and helping professionals) navigate the task of teaching children how to survive in a society that sometimes gives unintentional messages which may negatively contribute to their self-esteem.  Representation matters!
