Subject: Congratulations to Dr. Michelle Aliff
Congratulations to Dr. Michelle Aliff who was just appointed to the US Department of Labor, Data Users Advisory Committee!
This is a wonderful and well deserved achievement for Michelle but it is also ground breaking for all Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists as it represents a seat at the table advising the Department of Labor how the public uses their data and input on new areas of study/focus.
I am confident Dr. Aliff will represent vocational rehabilitation professionals, the disabled community and users of BLS statistics admirably and this is a wonderful honor for her and all of us.
US DOL, BLS, Data Users Advisory Committee (DUAC)
The Data Users Advisory Committee provides advice to the Bureau of Labor Statistics from the points of view of data users from various sectors of the U.S. economy, including the labor, business, research, academic and government communities, on matters related to the analysis, dissemination, and use of the Bureau's statistics, on its published reports, and on gaps between or the need for new Bureau statistics.
