Since the vast majority of RC and VE are CRCs, many have probably seen the report, but I thought it may be useful to those few outliers among us who are not yet CRC. As with the previous survey those CRCs in private practice are substantially higher paid (on average $93,973) than are all CRCs (on average $73,851). The 2014 ACA survey documented that RC was the highest paid counseling specialty (but for counselor educator) and that 90% of RCs had CRC)
The new compensation data plays havoc with the weird OEWS data for RC SOC which is nationally $38560 median and $44740 mean suggesting some mis-categorized and low paid paraprofessionals and assistants are gumming up the data
