Luis draws upon over 30 years of experience in the Workers’ Compensation arena in the private sector. He has testified extensively as a Vocational Rehabilitation expert witness before Workers’ Compensation Judges and at the appellate court level for both plaintiffs and the defense. He has completed over one thousand vocational/reemployment evaluations and rehabilitation plans for injured employees in multiple states and countries, and over five thousand Job Descriptions/Job Analyses for diverse industries.
He has developed numerous training programs for professional staff and is certified by the state of Florida to provide Continuing Education training in workers’ compensation. He has been a featured speaker/presenter at the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals national convention and at the Florida Workers’ Compensation Institute’s Annual Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference in Orlando.
Luis is fully bilingual in English/Spanish and is also conversant in French and Italian. He has traveled extensively in North America, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, South America, and Europe. He has worked with a diverse array of clients from all over the world, including China, India, Philippines, Afghanistan, Armenia, Eritrea, Viet Nam, Italy, Spain, Serbia, Belarus, Republic of South Africa, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Venezuela, Ecuador, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, Cuba , Mexico and Haiti.
