IARP Solicits Cognate Editors for Journal of Life Care Planning and Rehabilitation Professional
Currently, the Rehabilitation Professional and the Journal of Life Care Planning are soliciting cognate editors. The journals will share an editorial board that is comprised of subject matter specialists, as outlined below:
1. Legal Issues/Law
2. Forensic Economics
3. Rehabilitation Education
4. Nursing/Case Management
5. Physical Medicine (MD)
6. Americans with Disability Act
7. Social Security
8. Mentoring
9. Vocational rehabilitation/ Transition planning
10. Speech/ Language Therapy
11. Occupational/Physical Therapy
12. Psychology / Counseling
13. Neuropsychology
14. Healthcare costing/ policies
15. Multicultural Issues
Editorial board members will be placed on a two-year term. As a part of their term, each editor will be responsible for timely review of articles, typically within their cognate area. Board members will also be responsible for reviewing, prepping, or soliciting at least two articles annually. This will be an opportunity to not only contribute to the profession, but also gain further acknowledgement within one's specialized field.
Editors of the journals will accept letters of inquiry from July 25-August 4, 2017. Submit the letters to either owenvoc@gmail.com or tscottsmith@aol.com.
