(401) Caregiver Burden and Traumatic Brain Injury Dennis Zgaljardic, Ph.D.The following presentation will discuss the physical, cognitive, and behavioral sequelae of moderate to severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) and its impact on caregiver burden. The presentation will focus on empirically-validated research performed in this area as well as plans for future research initiatives looking at cognitive-behavioral interventions for family caregivers of persons who have acquired brain injuries who are returning to the community after residential rehabilitation.
