Looking to find good home for thriving practice...

By Robert C. Brower posted 12-15-2011 11:07

I’m trying to wrap up forty years in vocational rehabilitation with mixed emotions.

After experience in state voc. rehab, several training agencies, and private sector rehab as a district manager, I founded Brower Rehabilitation Services in 1991 for case work.  It evolved into a private practice in forensic/ vocational expert work, with an almost overwhelming supply of work.

Over the years I have testified in NY Supreme Courts in the boroughs of New York City, and as far up the Hudson River to Kingston, NY, and in 2 Districts of Federal Courts.

I have enjoyed the professional relationships from my 12 years of service on the Boards of the former CIRSC, CDMSC, and the Foundation.  I have benefited from the educational conferences of IARP.  The opportunity for 15 years of teaching as a part-time adjunct instructor in the masters Rehab program at Hofstra University has been priceless.

Now, I look forward to the opportunity to help someone else to take over this thriving practice.

Best Regards,

Robert C. Brower, CRC, CDMS
