Call for Nominations

 

Positions for IARP Board of Directors, Standards Compliance Review Board
and Section Boards

Deadline – Tuesday, April 11, 2017

 

IARP is seeking dedicated individuals to serve on the IARP International Board of Directors and the Special Interest Sections for the upcoming terms. All open positions are listed below.

IARP Board of Directors Positions

These positions are elected by the individual professional members.

                                    Treasurer (2-year term)

                                    Director of Marketing & Membership (2-year term)

 

This position is elected by the individual professional members of the Life Care Planning/IALCP Section.

                                    Life Care Planning/IALCP Representative to the IARP Board (2-year term)

 

This position is elected by the individual professional members of the Rehabilitation and Disability Case Management Section.

                                    Rehabilitation & Disability Case Management Representative to the IARP Board (2-year term)

 

Standards Compliance Review Board (SCRB) Positions

 

These positions are elected by the individual professional members.

                                    Forensic (2-year term)

                                    Rehabilitation & Disability Case Management (2-year term)

                                    Rehabilitation Nurse (2-year term)

 

 Forensic Section Board Positions

 

These positions are elected by the individual professional members of the Forensic Section.

                                    Vice Chair (3-year term includes 1 year as Chair followed by 1 year as Past Chair)

                                    Member-at-Large (2-year term) – there are 2 Member-at-Large positions open

 

 Life Care Planning/IALCP Section Board Positions

 

These positions are elected by the individual professional members of the Life Care Planning/IALCP Section.

                                    Chair-Elect (3-year term includes 1 year as Chair followed by 1 year as Past Chair)

                                    Member-at-Large (2-year term) – there are 2 Member-at-Large positions open

 

 Rehabilitation & Disability Case Management Section Board Positions

These positions are elected by the individual professional members of the Rehabilitation & Disability Case Management Section.

                                    Chair-Elect (3-year term includes 1 year as Chair followed by 1 year as Past Chair)

                                    Member-at-Large (2-year term) – there are 4 Member-at-Large positions open

  

Social Security Vocational Experts Section Board Positions

These positions are elected by the individual professional members of the Social Security Vocational Experts Section.

                                    Chair-Elect (3-year term includes 1 year as Chair followed by 1 year as Past Chair)

                                    Member-at-Large (2-year term) – there are 2 Member-at-Large positions open

 

 Vocational Rehabilitation Transition Services Section Board Positions

These positions are elected by the individual professional members of the Social Security Vocational Experts Section.

                                    Chair-Elect (3-year term includes 1 year as Chair followed by 1 year as Past Chair)

                                    Member-at-Large-Secretary (2-year term)

                                    Member-at-Large-Representative to IARP Education Committee (2-year term)

 


Nominees should be able to attend all meetings, participate in conference calls, and attend the IARP Annual and/or Section Conference. Nominees must be an Individual Professional member in good standing for at least 2 years.

 

Further explanations of duties and qualifications for these positions may be found in the Bylaws and Policies and Procedures sections of the IARP Website.

 

The nomination packet must include:

  1. Nomination Form
  2. Letter of Nomination
  3. 300-word biographical sketch
  4. Curriculum Vitae
  5. 2 letters of support

 

All nominations must be sent in a single email with all of the above attachments included in the packet.

 

Information will be published exactly as it appears in the packet.

 

Failure to submit all materials will result in an incomplete packet, which will not be processed.
