From: Lynne Tracy, IARP President I am very pleased to announce the results of our recent election. The lifeblood of our association is the willingness of volunteers to undertake IARP’s work at the committee, chapter, section, and international board level. I want to salute those who volunteered to run for office. Like any election that is contested, we have winners and those who fell short. I can assure you that for those who were not elected this time, we will give them opportunities to serve in the future. We welcome their continued interest in IARP. As Theodore Roosevelt said, “Far and away the best prize that life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing”. Serving IARP is work worth doing. At the end of IARP’s fiscal year next month, I will summarize the important achievements of the past year, and the challenges and opportunities that are before us. I will also pay tribute to those who are leaving the IARP board after years of distinguished service to the association and the rehabilitation industry. Sincerely,
