Does anyone have a disability attorney they know of that has experience with VA disability claims?
A former employee filed a disability claim and seems to be getting the run around. While she was assigned a Disability Coordinator with the VA, they seem to provide her with very little in the way of assistant, and there seems to be no direct way for her to find out the status of her claim, and miscommunication depending on whom she speaks with, i.e., notified in writing she denied, and then told my someone to ignore the letter and her case was still be evaluated. It is a very complicated and unusual health condition, and I think she needs an advocate.
Also, if anyone has experience with VA employees (not veterans) and has some understanding of their internal disability process, I would like to connect with you on this case.
