    Please join us on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, from 12:00 - 1:30pm for an illuminating conversation about Artificial Intelligence. 

    Speakers: Ilana Lehman, VSS 3, Education Specialist at the Department of L&I and David Flores, MS, CRC, Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor at Rainier Case Management

    Learning Objectives for Participants: 

    1. Distinguish core concepts — clearly define chatbot vs. AI vs. large language model, retrieval vs. generation, and “hallucination. Be able to explain how chatbots differ from web browsers.
    2. Explain why AI matters to vocational rehabilitation counselors with a focus on the worker’s compensation arena.
    3. Be able to articulate the “so what” by identifying at least 3 ways VRCs can use AI in their work, and how VRCs can safeguard against potential risks
