    Greetings IARP Members,

As you may already know, our Rehabilitation Disability Case Management Section (RDCM) and the Transition Services Section merged earlier this year, becoming the new Rehabilitation Case Management and Transition Services (RCTS) Section. Under the leadership of our new Board of Directors, we are excited about this endeavor and plan to take our section to the next level.

One of the new initiatives that we are introducing is the "Ask Your Peers." Through this approach, IARP members can submit their questions anonymously through our email, iarprcts@gmail.com, for discussion among members in our listserv. These questions will be chosen on a monthly basis and posted into our new listserv to foster an environment for input among our members to discuss various topics, and identify practical solutions to issues we may face as rehabilitation practitioners.

Our new section aims to create collaboration, cohesion, and creativity among our members. We find that this new initiative will drive the focus on finding solutions to issues, with additional input from different perspectives from our pool of diverse professionals. This initiative will start in September, and you can submit your questions again via email at iarprcts@gmail.com.

We are also bringing back our roundtables, which are scheduled to be held quarterly, to encourage discussion among our members regarding medical, vocational, transition services, and case management issues and questions. This will be an opportunity to discuss topics that come up in practice for discussion in a confidential space.

This is a great step forward for our now combined section, and we are eager to take the next step to meet our members' needs. We are always looking for input from our section members, who possess a wealth of knowledge. If you have any suggestions or recommendations, please feel free to contact any of our board members.

Thank you, and we hope you all have a great rest of your summer ahead!

    Sincerely,

    IARP RCTS Section Leadership
