Can anyone give me some insight as to why a Psychiatrist would state an injured worker can job search & work but cannot interview due to severe anxiety/depression and her severe and disabling symptoms?

    Hi Barbara,

It's possible that the psychiatrist doesn't feel that she can interact in person with others in a job setting.  There are jobs where individuals do much or all their work by computer online, and many companies do at least their initial screening through on line applications and communication.  It would be worth clarifying with the provider.

I do know that I have gone on interviews with my injured clients.  I have also requested accommodations.

If returning to the same company, I also went with my clients on there first day back to meet with their co-workers and followed up via phone with the clients throughout the first week to see how they were doing.
