Greetings,
The RDCM Board had a very productive meeting on March 2, 2015, which I will briefly summarize for you.
We had an extensive discussion regarding our upcoming elections. Tony Morin has agreed to extend his excellent service as our Representative to the International Board if elected from May 2015 to May 2017.
Barbara Harvey has volunteered to run for Chair Elect and if elected, would vacate her Board Member at Large position serving as Chair Elect from May 2015 to May 2016, at which point she would assume the Chair position from May 2016 to May 2018.
We are developing a 6 point "RDCM 101" program. Tony and the board have worked hard to identify excellent speakers to produce the 60 minute webinars. We hope to have all six parts completed by June of this year.
Barbara Harvey, our Finance Committee Chair, reported an independent audit of the international board's finances was complete and as expected, all things were found to be in order and we are in relatively good financial shape.
The full minutes for the meeting will be posted on RehabConnect. Past minutes are going to be archived in our library and the minutes from our March meeting will be available after review and acceptance at our April 6, 2015 board meeting.
We are still seeking five additional volunteers to run for open Board Member at Large positions. Board Member at Large positions are a two year term of office and require you to attend a one to two hour conference call the first Monday of each month. You may also volunteer to chair or be a member of RDCM committees.
