    IARP Adds Valuable NEW Coverage to Professional Liability Insurance

    IARP and Mercer Consumer formerly known as Marsh are pleased to announce the addition of a new optional endorsement, Non-Patient Care Services, to the Professional Liability Insurance program, underwritten through Liberty Insurance Underwriters.

    COVERAGE
    The endorsement expands the professional liability insurance policy to provide coverage for professional services relating to:
    •    Life Care Planning
    •    Consulting Services
    •    Educational Services


    PREMIUM
    The additional premium for the Non-Patient Care Services Endorsement is $25 annually.*

    WHEN WILL THE ENDORSEMENT BE AVAILABLE?
    The endorsement is available in 17 states, with other availability in many other states expected by year end. Here are the states where coverage is available:
    1.    Arizona
    2.    Georgia
    3.    Hawaii
    4.    Iowa
    5.    Idaho
    6.    Kentucky
    7.    Maine
    8.    Michigan
    9.    Mississippi
    10.    Montana
    11.    North Carolina
    12.    New Jersey
    13.    Oregon
    14.    South Dakota
    15.    Tennessee
    16.    Texas
    17.    Virgina

    HOW TO APPLY FOR COVERAGE?
    Renewals: The option to apply for the endorsement will be provided as it becomes available in your state based on the timing of your renewal.   A supplemental application will be required and coverage is subject to review and approval by the underwriter.

    New Applicants: Similar to renewals, the option to apply for coverage provided via the endorsement will be subject to state availability and underwriter approval. A supplemental application will be required and is subject to review and approval by the underwriter.
