  • 1.  EMDR Therapist in CT

    I'm looking for a certified EMDR (Eye Movement and Desenitization Reprocessing) therapist in Connecticut.  I've been on Psycholgy Today website and there are numerous in NY, but I don't see any in CT.  Not sure if I'm not using the correct key word for CT, but any assistance will be appreciated.

    Hi Renee, 

    EMDR is a very common therapy among therapists. You need to use the filter Trauma and PTSD. I found more than 500 in CT.  https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/therapists/connecticut?category=trauma-and-ptsd

    If you are looking specifically for a certified EMDR therapist, I suggest that you go to the EMDRIA.org site and go to the EMDR Therapist directory.  It will specifically highlight certified EMDR therapists for CT and there are many. EMDRIA certifies therapists for that credential.
