    Greetings

I have been studying the House Bill which passed last night and making its way to the Senate

I noticed the bill documents elimination of the Department of Education

Restored impoundment powers aallowing for the president to override all departments spending decisions

Thanks for letting us know, Robert.  There is a lot in that bill that has potential to negatively affect the lives of people who have disabilities.

Here's a hypothetical from my perspective on the House Bill:

VR Counselor places a person with a disability into a job. She's raising 2 children in grade school
Client is getting $15 hr. The children are on Medicaid and she is getting ACA or healthcare from the government exchanges.

House Bill would eliminate Medicaid and ACA unless she makes $8 hr. One cannot receive both at the same time.
