    Hi All. I was just informed that NSO is increasing my annual insurance rate from $106.00 per consultant to $763.00 per consultant. A 7 x increase!  And they are not even apologetic for it and cannot give me an explanation. I am now looking for a new carrier. Does anyone have a recommendation?

    Thank you Ellen, as well as others who responded to me privately. Interestingly, as I questioned NSO further, it turns out that HPSO and NSO are the same company. I asked if our profession has had increased claims that can justify this rate increase. He did not answer that directly but confirmed that IF there have been other claims, that would affect the premium for everyone else. Of course, I know that in concept,  but i would like to have confirmation that is  in fact the case.  I will be changing companies for sure.

    Asking on behalf of an attorney, who is looking for an endocrinologist to opine on a case.  Preferably in California, but any recommendations would be helpful.

    I was quoted as $4358! It was $1785 last year. NSO/HSPO for an S corp with only me covered.

    I paid $392 this year for professional liability coverage (nursing), as self employed with riders for case management and LCPing (mainly errors and omissions). That is with NSP/HSPO, covering only me.
